I have been considering this for quite a bit of time now, especially during my hiatus period for my examinations. But I think this is the end of the road for this Yixing muse and I, and we will be leaving our dreamwidth and twitter accounts as they are.
You may or may not want to read this, but there are a few people I feel obliged to explain to, especially having been quite close to them over the past year or so. Playing this muse has initially started off as a hobby, and I have always enjoyed meeting new muses and learning about their characterisation and development as muses. It has been quite the enjoyable ride for us thus far, to see people grow and flesh out their thoughts, and it has also been an interesting one, learning about different artists whom I would have never thought of looking up if not for you guys playing them. Recently, I did realise that my focus has shifted towards more of an updating how Yixing is doing in real life, trying to get more people to understand how Yixing is like as a real person in real life. As a fan, it may sound biased (which of course it is), but he has been putting in so much effort in his works and has kept such a tight control on how he portrays himself to the media and to others in the same industry that I can't help but admire it. I have felt that I am unable to do the real life Yixing any justice when I'm playing him anymore, feeling inadequate in the face of the strength of his character.
To those we may have offended, I apologise for having played him in such a headstrong and stubborn manner.
I hope that you guys will continue to give Yixing some love and support.
It was quite a good time we had here, so thank you. If any of your muses would like one last scene with Yixing before I lay this muse to rest, please feel free to talk to us through DMs.
